The Barbados islands are renewed by their abundance of sunshine: simply put, ther sky is an almost permanent in the Barbados skyline at all parts of the year. However average day time temperatures remain rather mild – between 80 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit, 27 to 29 degrees Celsius – thanks to the influence of the constant cool breezes of the Trade Winds. Temperatures do drop during night time, but no great fluctuation is experienced with the averages remaining around 76 degrees Fahrenheit, 23 degrees Celsius. Often lasting for a few minutes only, afternoon showers have a calming effect on summer’s rather warm temperatures, cooling down the blazing sun that prevails between June and November. The months between December and May are considered to be Barbados’ driest season.
